Step Updates

So, I have put in about 14 hours into these steps, played cash games and tourneys so it is all the same.  Put in $242 and yet to cash out as I am building them up.

I don't like to just try and run one up as once you lose it it seems like so much work to gain it back.

So far I have...

14 hours
$242
Steps:
  regular;
    2 step 3 $430
    2 step 2 $110

  mini;
    2 ministep 3 $110
    5 ministep 2 $110
    2 ministep 1 $12

total value $772
- money in $242
"earned" $530

Not bad if I can keep up at this pace.  We will see.

February 28, 2006, 2PM: Played 3 hours, Made $27.00 at Full Tilt
$26 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (14th out of 221 Players)

Just got into the money.  Started off tourney really strong.  Then got moved yet agian but had an agro maniac on my left, freezing me up.  I don't like being in these situations.  Everytime I touched my chips I was re-raised or called.  Then on flop if I checked he bet and if I bet he raised.  All I could do was hope to flop a hand and trap him.  Or check raise all in or just move all in on the flop.  Either way my tourney life was on the line everytime I moved chips with him on my left.  Not fun.  Good lesson to deal with but not fun.

$26 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (263rd out of 279 Players)

Get trapped up in the blinds, 78 vs 9T, we both nail the flop.  Survive only to raise with AJs.  Flop nut flush draw and bet pot, he shoves, board is 446.  If he has a wired pair I still have 15 outs and am the favorite.  I'm hoping he has like 77 or even the King high flush draw.  He rolls over AK.  Still have 12 outs to win and 6 to tie, not bad.  Bold play by him though.

$75 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (105th out of 131 Players)

Agian, more frustration.  Players that can't lay down crap hands.  Have UTG player double bet with AT, I raise the pot with QQ, guy in SB goes all in for a tiny bit more than my total bet, then the initial raiser shoves for about another 25%.  Only have to doege the two remaining aces and I have some QQs to block possible straights, board comes with 3 jacks and again rewarded for bad bad play.

$10 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Tried moving up.  Bunch of damn animals.  I need to play that limit when I don't mind losing 3-10K in one sitting.  Until then I'll stick with losing 1-3 hundred, lol.
