No cards. Too tired. So many raisers at both tables, couldnt even be creative...

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (10 Players)

I hate 4th place, but I didn't make any big mistakes here, while twice, others were lucky against me.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 10 Players)

So 4, $5 buck Sngs 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th. At this level I feel I should be placing in 50+% of the 1 table SNGs, so I didn't quite measure up, but the account is still up to $172.07 tonight.

I found myself testing my bankroll rules today though. I saw the $3 rebuy qualifier to Sunday's Star Tourney. The way I play rebuys would require about 6 to 8 entries though, so if I do the math $18 - $24 is way over my 5% safe level - I had to slap myself out of going in that tourney. This is still punishment play for letting my Stars account get so low. What is doubly hard is that while I am playing these 5 buck tables, I have more than 5 grand in my Party account literally burning for some big tournaments.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 10 Players)

Finished second here but 1st and 3rd were solid players. Kept mitakes to a minimal, but slightly over aggressive heads up...(If that is possible)

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (6th out of 10 Players)

I reraised my set of 9's right into a straight. Never recuperated. I am not sure I am at a level where I can lay down a set at the 5 buck table, although I have done so with a "sensitive sized stack" several times in Party Poker tournaments.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 10 Players)

Was on the verge of being knocked out in 4th when 2 bigger stacks went head to head, both with marginal hands... dumb. In the money, started with the all-in or out and once again, players at this level just do not understand the value of their hands. I then hit AA and both players tripled me up. Take it down, sir.
Stars rebuild mission now at $158.07

Getting to the point soon where I will go in the 3 table sngs, and $10 entry level, but am tied up now with family obligations this week, so may take some extra time.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 10 Players)

Very tight table. 6 players left to round 6. I started stealing blinds from overly tight players to get in position to win. Heads up against decnt player, each had top pair, he with better kicker.

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 10 Players)

4th and 5th players basically gifted their stacks to me, coasted to 1st from there.

Stars account (bankroll rebuild mission) now at $133.07.

I once read that Chris Ferguson deposited a single dollar into an online poker account, and turned it into $25,000! So I am going to keep that in mind....

$5 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 10 Players)

Family night but had to squeeze in a couple Sng's before bed. This one went well, took advantage of a tilting chip leader, and sent him to bed. My 99 ran into JJ heads up to end it.

August 30, 2006, 1AM: Played 3 hours, Made $215.00 at Party Poker
$12 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (4th out of 100 Players)

Played the $3-rebuy tourney to win a seat in the Sunday Million. I have made the money a few times in The Sunday Million, but haven't cashed more than $1,000 yet.

I walked into pocket aces at the final table and became the microstack. A few strategic all-ins with garbage combined with hyper-aggresive bubble played got me back in shape and I coasted the last few minutes to place. Anyway, I like these rebuys. I play a lot of all-in over the top style here, a little wreckless I guess, but it goes hand in hand with the low buy-in.
