January 31, 2007, 8PM: Played 4 hours at Cascades Casino (Langley)
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Wasn't getting ANY cards.  AA once and made about $12.  Last hand had a new player join from the 10/20NL table as it collaped.  Limped in with Kh 7h, new player raised from the button to $15...3 callers including myself.  Flop came down, 2s 2d 7s, flopped top pair.  2 checks into me, with $48 in the pot and flush draw showing, I bet $40.  New player calls $40 quickly on the button and other 2 fold.  $128 in the pot, turn is the Js.  Either he was on the flush draw or at least a over pair.  I checked, he bet out $75.  Over half the pot, he called to quickly, now I'm facing a flush.  I folded.

January 23, 2007, 9AM: Played 1 hour at Cascades Casino (Langley)
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Bought in for $200.  25 mins in was dealt A9c.  Hand was raised to $15.  Myself on the button calls, and a player in middle position call.  $48 in pot.  Flop come down 5c 8c 9d.  Middle pos. checks to the better, who bets $15, I raise it to $30.  Mid player calls, better bets $100 on top, I call and Mid player goes all in for $53 more.  The better goes all in with $200 and I call with $84 all in. Mid player shows K2c, better shows set of 5's, I show A9c.  $596 pot.  Turn is a 4h, river is a 2c making my nut flush.  After words talking the all the other players, I only had 4 clubs left to hit.

January 17, 2007, 8PM: Played 2 hours at Cascades Casino (Langley)
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

Couple of significant hands:

1.  Dealt pocket Jacks in first position and limp in, next player folds followed by a raise to $15, 5 callers including myself.  Checked blind, flop comes J A 9, raiser makes it $15 again, 1 caller then a re-raise to $84 folds to me then I call.  Everyone else folds, heads up.  All in had A 9, I had set of J's.  They held up and took down a $276 pot.

2.  I decided before the deal I decided that this will be my last hand of the night.  Look down @ Ad6d.  I call, then a fold, raise to $15, call, 4 folds, call and then I call the $15.  Flop came down 6h 8c 6s rainbow.  Check to me, I check then a $30 bet, and 3 callers including myself.  Next card is a 5s.  Check into me, I check, then a $30 bet, 2 callers and action on me.  With $275 in the pot and a flush draw showing I decided nows the time to take the pot down.  I push all in with my remaining 340.  I get a call of 93 and another of 110 and a fold.  I turn over my set of 6's, origional raiser shows KK and the other caller shows JJ.  The set held up and i took down a $589 pot.

January 3, 2007, 8PM: Played 2 hours at Cascades Casino (Langley)
$2 No-Limit Texas Hold'em

A memorable hand:

1.  New table...probally 4th hand in.  Middle position and dealt Ad 10d and raise it to $20 and get 2 callers behind me.  $63 in the pot and flop of 9d 6d 10s.  So with flopping top pair and the nut flush draw I came out and bet $25, and the player behind me moves all in for $100.  Button player folds I call.  Player behind shows QhQs...ok I'm behind but I wasn't to worried.  Turn brings Qd giving me the nuts...and lucky for me the river didn't pair the board so I took down a nice $263 pot.
