Bonus

$20 45 mans are so juicy. I have about a 50% rate of interest, which means 10 dollars profit every tourney I sign up for. Cashed off what I deposited plus a little sent to friends. Still kept plenty on to keep playing.

$202 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (1st out of 45 Players)

1st and 2nd out of 3 tournaments. Big boost in the bankroll that was well needed since it was getting low again. Mainly switched over to playing a couple of these SnGs every night

$0.25/0.50 Texas Hold'em

Well I had a great run last night that got cancelled out by a bad run today. I feel like I played really great last night but horrible today. A lot of the pots I was in I shouldn't have been.

For once it's my fault.

November 22, 2006, 3PM: at Home Game
$0.5/1 Texas Hold'em

Back on FT and trying to beat the $50 tables...had a bad run of cards so far.

Last night at a home game it was the second to last hand and we were down to three handed.
Button opens for 5.
SB calls.
I have AA and smooth call.

Flop: Q72

SB checks.
I check.
Button bets 7.
SB calls.
I raise to 24.
Button folds.
SB calls.

Turn: 3

SB checks.
I immeadiately bet out 45.
This is where it got bad...he acted like he was going to fold and announced he had top pair. But after all that he counted out his chips and threw them in. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that he wasn't telling the truth and he had top pair.

River: 8

SB checks.
I go all in for about 60.
He flipped over his cards immeadiately and showed Q8 for queens up.

Can I even get mad about this? I got exactly what I wanted...but this might bring up a question. Is it right to change your play near the end of a session to secure your money? Should I have played the safe route and just raised preflop to avoid action? Personally I think that you shouldn't change your game based on when the games going to end but if you disagree please comment.
