June 26, 2006, 9PM: Played 1 hour, 30 minutes, Lost $200.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Was in a weird mood today, played poor hands and played way too aggressive for the game.  The premium hands could not drag a pot.  Bad Daryl!

June 25, 2006, 8PM: Played 1 hour, Made $46.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Got the game fired back up six handed.  I got up 140 within the first fifteen minutes.  I loosened up my play a little too much after that and gave some chips back.  I am kind of glad the game filled up, because I stopped playing good poker for a while and am happy that I got out with a win.

June 25, 2006, 2PM: Played 3 hours, Made $102.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Started a game 3 handed.  Held my own until the game got to seix handed.  Three hands in a row I lost flopping two pair twice, wired aces the last one.  Didn't drag a chip.  Game got short again and I was in two racks.  I was waiting to play these two guys and slowly ate away at them.  I ended up victorious, all do to short handed play and being very aggrassive.  I did well at changing my betting patterns and kept the one guy guessing.  The other guy did not know how to play short handed poker and was very easy to read.  We busted him and I took most of the other guys juice.  Plus he was not a well liked player, so that fealt good!

June 24, 2006, 11PM: Played 30 minutes, Made $14.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Kept the game alive for a few to insure the night dealers made some money.  Got chipped up quick, up about 50.  Then had 1010 and JJ and dumped them early with bad flops and reading players.  I was behind preflop both times.

June 20, 2006, 3PM: Played 45 minutes, Lost $25.00 at Big Daddy's
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

helped fire up a game after the tournament.  Chipped up really quick.  Just played extra tight and made a couple of moves that got me a few chips.  Got caught up in a big hand and lost my chips.  Had a haircut to go to, so I cut my losses.

$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (2nd out of 35 Players)

Made a chip stack split with two other players.  Blinds were too high and anyone could have won.  I reall read players well today, made to good calls.  Got AA cracked with final five and still managed to get my chips stack back.  I had to win a hande where I was about 30% with a couple of all-ins, but it only took 2/5 of my stack away if I lost.  And I would have easily moved up a spot if I didn't play the hand.

June 19, 2006, 12PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $23.00 at Big Daddy's
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (20th out of 31 Players)

Wow, I have not played tournaments in a while.  I made several betting errors.  Of course, I still squeeked along until I had to put my chips in.  Will try again today and see if I can improve.

June 18, 2006, 2PM: Played 1 hour, 15 minutes, Made $120.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Manufactured a game after the tournament.  Full of soft players, 6 handed with another employee.  Got some really good hands and made some good bets to steal little pots.  They start to add up after you rob several of them.  Only really lost one hand where a guy was justing trying to leave and he had a smaller wired pair that caught on the flop.  The last hand was fun, got everyone at the table to call dark and play the hand in the dark, one all-in.  One player decided to look, and we all knew he was weak, so we punished him! I ended having a flush draw and losing, but dealer wone the hand to get some juice, it all worked out good.  Could be a slow night with Fathers day and all, but good session none the less.

June 11, 2006, 4PM: Played 30 minutes, Lost $50.00 at BD's (OTC)
$4/8 Texas Hold'em

Tried to hold a game together and ran into new player on first hand.  You know the drill, top pair...blah blah blah.  Game filled up, played fine.

June 9, 2006, 7PM: Played 45 minutes, Made $173.00 at BD's (OTC)
$3/6 Texas Hold'em

Went on a nice little rush, catching a couple of hands that the odds were against.  Almost every time I knew what my odds were and played them accordingly.  Got in good bets and maximized weaknesses.  Took it easy on a couple of hands, game would have got short again.  Game filled up and I got out.  I let the players know the money would be burning a hole in my pocket till I could get back in the game.  I am sure there are more posts to come tonight.
