July 31, 2006, 10PM: Played 1 hour, 48 minutes, Lost $100.00 at Doyles Room
$1 Pot-Limit Omaha

played very tight for a long time, couldnt pick up a hand for a long time. Then some donk started catching bad cards with bad starting hands. He called my reraise allin with bottom 2 pair when i had top set. He got runner runner straight to beat me.

July 31, 2006, 8PM: Played 1 hour, Lost $11.00 at Doyles Room
$0.50 Pot-Limit Omaha

lost my first $50 buyin when some donk called my reraises with aces and another players allin for about $30 preflop, then another $20 on the flop with nothing but bottom pair with 9-8-7-4 all spades, caught runner runner straight. Rebuy for $100 and built it back up to not be stuck for too much, then the table broke. The donk left soon, didnt give a chance to win it back.

July 31, 2006, 5PM: Played 2 hours, 42 minutes, Made $22.00 at PokerStars
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (16th out of 180 Players)

barely made it into the money, so when i did, i got really aggressive, pushing in with any connectors and naked aces. After 2 allins uncalled, i moved in with AQ and got called by A9 to double up. Still short stacked, i moved in with 9s and got called by AQ to lose. I dont mind losing that race, but i won all of the other races that i was dominating in, finally, and i had a good result because of it.

July 31, 2006, 4PM: Played 2 hours, Lost $11.00 at PokerStars
$10 Buy-In Omaha Tournament (21st out of 108 Players)

lost a big hand late when i riased at every chance with AA97 double suited, got called down by K-10-6-4 single suited, rivered trip sixes like a donkey. I could not believe that such a big fish made it 2 hours into the tourney. Usually guys that chase like that get knocked out earlier. Anyway, it crippled me, then my kings ran into aces. Damn the bubble.

July 31, 2006, 2PM: Played 1 hour, 48 minutes, Lost $37.80 at Doyles Room
$18 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (146th out of 467 Players)

If you have AK and push allin, wouldnt you want someone with AQ to call you? Of course you do. But not me. Not anymore. I lose more with AK vs AQ allin preflop. It is the most ridiculous thing ever. How could someone limp in and then call a monster reraise allin with AQ and think they're good? Damnit all.

Maybe i should wait until i calm down to write these things. I sound like a little bitch.

July 31, 2006, 4AM: Played 45 minutes, Lost $22.00 at PokerStars
$20 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (128th out of 241 Players)

I won a big hand early when i went in with JJ and got called by 77 to double up. A few hands later, i raised 5 times blind with KJ suited, cuz there was one limper and this guy hand limped into every pot and was one of those guys that would play any suited cards or face card. He called and flop comes K high with 2 hearts. He checks to me, i bet 2/3 pot. He calls, Turn makes the flush. I bet out again. Call. River pairs my J. He goes allin and i cant lay it down. He hit the flush, so now i'm back where i started. Get AQ clubs in the cutoff facing 3 limpers, so i move in. BB reraises, one limper calls. I'm up against 10s and AK, i lose like a donk.

July 29, 2006, 4AM: Played 2 hours, 30 minutes, Lost $55.00 at PokerStars
$50 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (19th out of 197 Players)

Doubled up on second hand when hit set 9s. Someone bet into me and then called my allin with top pair Q10. Later picked up AK UTG, got reraised, we got it allin vs 10s. Ace hit the flop, but so did a 10, so i figure it would have gone down that way even if i had just called preflop.

Anyway, i played well, picking my spots good and winning some pots without making a hand. Then the deck went cold and the few hands i got, i lost. Long story short, they paid 18 spots and i couldnt pick up a hand to play at the end. I did make one very big mistake with 20 players left. I got JJ in BB and didnt have the balls to push it in to a raise, and ended up losing half my short stack by just calling and then folding.

$4 Pot-Limit Omaha

even at this higher limit, people are so bad. there were 3 guys that would call any preflop raise with anything. it was the most amazing thing watching these guys give their money away. of course in situations like that, one of them inevitably got lucky and built a very big stack. Fortunately for me this calling station was sitting directly to my left, so he paid me off a couple of times. I was having a really bad day up to this point, so it feels good to sit back and wait for my good hands, and then have them hold up.

$27 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (26th out of 51 Players)

i played one hand. one. I have AK in the BB, its folded to the button, he moves allin, has me covered. He shows J-9 spades. hits the 9. Everytime. They try to give it to me. I wait and wait and wait for someone to make a mistake against me, and they always do, and then they luck out. everytime.
