Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure - Atlantis Bahamas - Day1A

So the tournament started off with a bang.  All 50 tables where full.  Players started with 20K in chips and 1:15 minute rounds! Very player friendly of Poker Stars for only an $8,000 buy in event.
 
Not too many cameras or photos being taken on the 1st day.  This will come into play when they combine days 1A and 1B into one.
 
The action was very amusing from a dealers point of view.  Many people went broke in the 1st 30 minutes? How? I also watched a young kid lay down KK pre.  I was very impressed.  It was raised to 800 UTG with blinds of 100/200.  The KK kid made it 2K, the UTG player makes it only 5K.. the kids thinks and thinks and open mucks KK!! UTG players is shocked and shows him AA, nice.
 
After watching and dealing all day long it makes me want to play an event like this.  The play is not nearly as strong as it should be or we are used to in tournaments.  Most all of these players have never played a "bigger" event and many are "just" online players that have won their seats.  I'm not saying they all are weak but in comparision with Vegas events I have played in the past it is soft.
