$3 No-Limit Texas Hold'em
Played my 1st two hands in a row and lost them both.. left.
1st hand, ATd, UTG limper and mid pos limper call, flop is K72, I continuation bet.. UTG telagraphs fold but then mid position player telegraphs fold so he calls. Mid folds and asks, "Was that too obvious I was folding?". Duh!
Turn brings the 7d diamonds, now I have nut flush draw. I doubt checker boy has a 7, I put him on spade draw, so I check. River is another X and he bets out $100. My gut tells me it is a bluff and to call, but I just sat down and am playing like a pussy so I fold. Then the little cocksucker shows me JQd!! Q high. Too bad a diamond didn't roll off.
Next hand I pick up 89s.. BB raises after 5 people limp. We all call, flop is 67A two of my suit. Flop flush and straight draw. BB leads out, one caller. I call, turn is Q, he leads out again, again one caller, I move in for a bit more since they both are forced to call such a small amount. I want to make sure they both pay the $50 cause if I wait til the river I doubt they both will pay it when I hit. I miss though :(
Drank about 1/5 of my coffee and hadn't even sat down yet.
Oh well.

Ramming and jamming with the home game players.
Did get unlucky on 2 large pots for that limit.

$55 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (30th out of 30 Players)
Lost my ass quickly.. misread ONE hand.
Flop is Th5h2s, I have T8s. I lead out and button raises. There is a heart flush draw on board. I feel he is bluffing or flushing. I call. I check when a 7s rolls off and let him bluff off more chips, now I have top pair and a backdoor flush draw. The river brings the queen of spades. I lead out.. he auto goes all in. I auto call. He shows K5s for a higher flush. I'm shocked. I didn't put him on second pair. I put him on a set or a bluff or maybe a ten. The only logical hand he can have that beats me is Axs, Kxs or Jxs, none of which contains a pair unless it is, A5, K5 or J5. Just didn't think he would play that bad pre then that bad post.

$33 Buy-In No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament (3rd out of 430 Players)
Was in the groove.. hit near rock bottom and got my game on. Had a huge stack, almost went broke and rebuilt it..
Just grinded to final table.
Once there picked spots to move in on blinds.. double up 3 times as I was the short stack. Was a weird final table. 9 of us left, 4 of us very very short stacks. So we were all playing the waiting game.. esp since 9th was $180 and 6th was $645. I said fuck them and went for it when I had the hands AND position.
Again, got to 4 handed and I'm all awkward.. did my best to bleed and pick on the other low stack.. double through him and then he went nuts and busted himself.. the other two players just had too many chips.
3 handed now.. stacks are 800K, 400K, and my measly 100K.. blinds just jumped to 5/10K lets see how I do...
Can't touch my chips.. they were all over me. Stack off with A7 vs A9.. busted.
Happy with 3rd, put up a great battle and played a masterful short stack.

Yes, I won one dollar.. playing about 5 of these PLO8 games while I play two tourneys. I figure that is better for me to do.. fund the tourneys again like the old methods.

Very frustrated here.. I guess you can say I am "running bad" but whatever.
Was doing wonderful then lost 3 pairs in a row, QQ, 88, JJ. All to ace rag monkeys.
Grind and pick and nip to survive.. only 20 away from the money, if I fold into it that will be lame and I will barely make it, if I even do. I'll take my chances.. pick up KQ on the button with 3400 in chips and blinds 200/400, cutoff limps, I shove all in, cutoff thinks, he has about 3500 left, so if he looses this will cripple him and leave him with 500, he calls with his QT, I'm loving it up until he busts me. :(
